Hi guys, in the middle of retrofitting coral red power memory seats to my car, reading online the seats need power/ground (obviously) and two k-can wires to signal the seat module to power up. This can be apparently done by tapping into the idrive controller canbus wires.

My question is it says pin 3 and pin 4 are the canbus wires on the idrive which I'm assuming are the 2 wires in the right as on the left of the plug says 1 and right says 4. Is that correct?
Thanks

Yes, that's correct.
The numbers at the connector are the pin numbers.
So 1 means pin1 and 4 means pin4.
And the KCAN2 wires have always yellow/red and yellow/brown wires.

Ok thanks, so am I correct in saying the pin 3 is the kcan high? Currently fitting electric memory seats into my f32, previous seats were manual but had seat heating and electric bolster adjust.

Would you know how to get the seat working? I'd assume I need a ground and live to the module then tap into the idrive kcan high and low for the signal to the seat module? Then how would I get the seat heater working?

This is a question to anyone who reads any help would be greatly appreciated.
