Tail light malfunction
I recently purchased a 2012 BMW 328i ( Luxury Trim, Upgraded Electronics Trim ) and am having a issue with the rear taillights. Ill start off this thread by listing what tail lights DO work:
- Rear Driver Running light - Rear Passenger Trunk Running light - Rear Passenger Brake/Signal light What DOESNT work: - Rear Passenger Trunk Running light - Rear Driver Break/Signal Light - Rear Passenger Running Light - License Plate Lights Keep in mind this vehicle doesn't have the upgraded lighting package, the bulbs were just changed, and the taillight connectors look in good condition (Not Burnt, Flailed, ETC.) The Infotainment system isn't showing any faults in the lighting system, no check engine lights, lights are not triple blinking like they would if there was a problem with the tail lights. Had a similar issue with my vehicle, dealer had to replace bulbs, the issue persisted and they ended up replacing something along the lines of the connectors I believe. Try double checking your connectors and if not, i'd look into any obvious problems like exposed wire, also check the sockets for the bulbs. Another idea i'd have is check all relevant fuses.

Was warrantied. I also have both the outer lights for sale, in perfect condition with all bulbs if you'd wanna try replacing them as a whole.
