I fitted eibachs. I don't regret it as they are a significant improvement over stock, but standard damping leaves a lot to be desired. I'm on adaptive but by most accounts you'd be better off with a quality set of passive dampers like Bilstein. I use the car as a daily and don't consider the F30 a weekend toy type car, so I'm happy enough with the springs alone.

MY adaptive has started to get crashy and shit around 44k miles.
The same happens with the shocks on standard. My guess is BMW shocks are shit. Go drive a new car and you can feel a massive difference |

ACS springs are probably the only mod I've fitted that I've never even thought twice about. They are fantastic.
My only warning would be that they are not slammed or going to turn your car into an M4 handling wise. If that's what your looking for, look elsewhere. |

It depends what you want. They are fine as an upgrade but aren't the last word in sorting out the ride and handling on the F3X.
I enjoyed the improvement but was very glad to further upgrade to full coilovers. As has been said, the OEM adaptive dampers are rubbish, although perhaps a little better on LCI.

I know adaptive versions have just been released. Wasn't aware they didn't cater for the 335d. Running mine on a 330d. X-drive is not for me.

We have sports dampers available now that are matched to our springs for all 1,2,3 and 4 series rear wheel drive cars, with or without adaptive. On cars with adaptive the adaptive function is deleted electronically.
In the summer we'll have sport dampers for xDrive cars with or without adaptive on the same basis. In the meantime our RS adjustable coilover kit is available for these cars, also with adaptive delete. |

This seems as good a place rather than start a new thread.
I’ve recently bought a F31 330d xdrive with the adaptive suspension that was fitted with ACS lowering springs by the dealer from new. Having nothing to compare to in terms of standard I have no issues with the handling of ACS springs, my only issue is the reverse rake, the back sits perfect but the front sits 25mm higher. It’s something I want to get sorted so can anyone advise on good quality springs that leave the car level without being too low. I have tried to use the search function but didn’t get to an answer. Standard springs aren’t an option, it’s not a tractor. |

Are you measuring height or arch gap. It’s just the front arch gap is higher than the rear if I recall right. Think it’s to do with the steering. Is it a pre lci ?

H&R don't give the reverse rake issue, but are a firmer ride I think.
I believe the ACS springs were updated for the F31 recently and now give a more level ride height, but someone on here can confirm I'm sure.
