DPF regen

If you use an app or ISTA to kick off DPF regens be aware that your car will immediately go into regen mode as soon as you get up to speed , it only stays in regen mode for about 5 minutes (for me) and the regen stops. Assuming you have at least half a tank of fuel or whatever the min is.

Unfortunately this is not enough time for me to get on the highway and build proper speed. The quality of these regens is garbage when you look at soot reduction.

I now kick off the regen via bimmer link once I'm actually on the motorway. Prior to bimmer link I used ISTA and it's not a quick process.
