pcv/valve cover

Hi everybody problem with car done 120000 miles but just carried out full rebuild on engine cyclinder head done as well done compression test 295psi on all cylinders. But got excessive blowby had manometer on filler cap reading was 6 mbar should be between 0-3 so i've read.So whilst checking found turbo was leaking oil so new one on order, but don't know if that was cause of blowby or blowby damaged it.So been checking pcv valve and applied pressure via blowing down same tube into engine and encountered quite a bit of resistance via the pcv valve is this normal or should it be free flowing, got new pcv membrane on order just in case.Cheers all thanks for taking time to read and reply in advance

You're on the right track membrane should fix it. The same symptoms happened to me and dealer replaced the entire valve cover (they cant replace the membrane only).

Likely the turbo isnt leaking oil, but the increased amount of blowby oil is leaking through some of the ducting that passes through the turbo. When you replace the membrane, also replace the o-rings for those ducts as well.
