I replaced my seats and the new seats have seat heating. Been trying to get that to work.
I have a f30 2012

What I have done so far:
2,5 mm Wire from fuse box Z7 and fuse 65 to pin 25 on the X14*1B
2,5 mm wire from X14*1B pin 26 to a screw in the back that is connected to chassis (earth)
0,5 mm wire from pin 8 to A174*14B pin 18. This should have been 0,35mm but I only had 0,5. Could that be the issue?


Replaced airco panel for one with heat seating button. VO coded 494 (seat heating) and then coded IHKA, FEM_BODY and REM. After coding the buttons light up and I can switch between setting 1,2 and 3.

Despite that the seat heating button lights up and there are no error codes in Rheingold the heating element doesn't heat.

If anyone has any tip for me I would be eternally grateful. See attachment for the wiring diagram.
