Hey all,

I'm looking to get a new exhaust setup but I don't know what to choose. I was looking to maybe just opt for a muffler delete and keep the resonators for the day I get my catless downpipes. I typically prefer louder exhausts that I can daily with no issues.

Does anyone have video clips of their exhaust setups that can possibly help me decide?

im also planing to do a muffler delete with a clamp so if it ever needs to change back it can

Had a muffler delete. It got really annoying because of the drone. Got the MPE after but it was way too “quiet.” Currently running a borla atak full cat-back. It sounds more aggressive than the MPE and barely has any drone.

you can look at my instagram in my sig, the 335 is catless with res delete and RPI GT exhaust, tuned via BM3. M3 is catless with zcp exhaust also tuned via Bm3

i can take one on my iphone, it sounds definitely better than stock, but not as loud as i thought it would.

I agree the MPE could have been just a tad louder.. - i am enjoying it so far, but i wish it was just a little throatier. Its very refined, however the way it comes.

MPE with catless is loud enough. My favorite is AWE tuning exhaust. Even with catless, zero drone.

I love my Dinan exhaust. It allows for burbles and while in eco pro mode it's really throaty. When it's WOT above 4K it really screams but under regular driving it's not much louder than OEM. Love it since I daily my car and don't want to be in the spot light all the time.

From what I hear, Dinan is louder than MPE.

I have MPE with catless DP's paired with JB4 and it sounds great.

The car is quiet on idle and daily driving with no drone but the car sounds amazing on WOT and on sport + the burbles are AMAZNG.

I would say its the perfect balance of having nice refined exhaust tone and not being conspicuous.

probably remus,

MPE i would say is like stock but alot louder and refined, remus will probably change the sound completely

you should check local bmw meet up for exhaust sound....I did and I settled for quad awe for my 428i gc.

I have Dinan's free flow exhaust with the black tips and love it. It's quiet for when I don't want to make a lot of noise but loud enough for when I do. It has a deep, rumbly sound with a little gurgle and pop.

I just switched remus for my mpe.... remus has a little lower octave, but about the same loudness... still really quiet even at wot and catless dp.

how much was the cost for the remus ? was it just the muffler with tips? I have the MPE, and debating getting something just a bit louder, but i mean a bit. I wonder how does the MPE sound with no resonator..
