What are the risks of coding from HK to hifi?
Tryng to upgrade the Harman Kardon sound system on a 2016 F31.
Unfortunately the latest idrive nbt evo is not compatible with Mobridge. That leaves me the option to code from HK to Hifi: This is done to get low level, full range, balanced signal outputs. Are there any risks to coding? Nobody does it in Belgium but I found a shop in Germany that does it. Should I trust them if they say they often do it? What can go wrong? I have been told it could create a bit of system noise... Do you loose some features like the music muting when in incoming phone call comes in, bluetooth... If for some reason there is an issue down the line can it be recoded easily to HK? Thank you, Thank you, |

The only things happened then you code HK to Hifi is :
Menu change to Hifi no digital Audio Signals over most (noise free) analog Audio Signals with single wires from HU Quadlock plug (some noise because of crossfeed) |
