Unable to edit values need help

I have looked and searched on this fourm and can't find the answer.

I'm in a f30 328i 2014 using a vm(virtual machine) with esys.

I can connect, read and so on.
When I go to edit a "value" for say the disclaimer. When I go to edit it by right clicking and then clicking edit, the edit button is gray/disabled so I can't edit it.

lend me some help, what did I do wrong?

UPDATE: all is good rookie mistake thanks for the help

You may have incorrect software installed:

Fxx, Ixx, & Gxx Series Coding: Latest Software, Guides, and Tips
