ISTA Standalone 4.39.20 which is a 128.5gb file

Do I need both? does one integrate to the other?

psdzdata is the programming data - 4.39 is the actual app.

if you want to update istep, then you need both.

if all you want to do is run scans and see the errors are, then you only need the app 4.39.

ive downloaded the torrent files 4.39.20

when it installed there were a couple of errors but didnt write down what they were?

i have read that i need to update BLP and psdZdata to 4.48.31 but I am missing a new BLP file and also unclear on how to do it?

is there a guide?

ummm - you do NOT need 4.48.31 BLP or anything. The torrent should contain the 4.39.20 blp - without what errors you are having, no one can help.

you can surely get the latest blp and then update registry - latest is now 4.49.12 but any blp from 4.39.20 or abv can be used but the registry needs to be updated to reflect whatever blp you got.

ista is not for coding. do some research and get esys if you want to code features.

ista is for scanning issues & programming new parts or updating istep - not for coding new features.
