Saddle brown interior with Black Sapphire Metallic Exterior. Absolutely love it and would go for it again but since life is too short, I go for a specific color combo then move on with every car.

Totally happy with EB paint & saddle leather with anthracite trim. Just all looks right together! But like jeffc83, if I'm buying new I usually like a change with each car, but I'd definitely stick with the interior as SB is in my opinion one of the best leather colours they do. It looks luxurious, keeps the interior from looking bland but doesn't get grubby too quickly. But I'm a sucker for tan coloured leather and appreciate not everyone like it!

I only recently completed European Delivery for a 440i xDrive Convertible and don't even have it in the US yet. I am not 100% sure I'll like the Glacier Silver w/Black Dakota long term but I do know I love one thing about it. When I returned it for shipment home after 1200 miles through southern Germany I had to run my finger over it to see if it was dirty enough to bother washing it. I know in my head that it's just as dirty as a black car would be but it's nice that it doesn't show it as quickly. I keep my cars clean but It's dusty where I park at work and a black car looks filthy in exactly 2 hours after parking there....worse if it even sprinkles a little rain.
My last 2 cars and current truck and motorcycle were/are black or dark red. Several cars before that I had a black E46. I'm done with black. I know Silver is second only to white on the boring car color scale but I think I'm going to like it for a very long time. While it's not as striking as black, red, blue or ever mineral grey, it actually highlights the body lines better than any of them. |

I have a tanzanite 435d with white interior. I loved it for the first week, wouldn't do white again. It always looks grubby!
Would get mineral white and saddle brown if possible. Last edited by -435UK-; 05-17-2017 at 05:42 AM.. |

Alpine White. Will do again. Easy to match color. Can put Red, Blue, and Purple stripes down the car later.

I've had it back in the US for a few weeks now and my answer is now a definite yes. Black drove me insane, Glacier Silver and basic black leather was just what I hoped it would be.

Jet black on oyster leather with black trim.
Definitely would get this combination again. We've been looking for a replacement F30 and the lot cars seem so plain.

I like my Mineral Gray when clean, looks super fresh in the sun. That said, very hard to keep clean. Probably go with a white next time around. Slowly getting turned on to the idea of Coral Red for a white exterior. I would go with the white oyster but lots of comments about it looking dingy.

Mines individual smoked topaz metalic & opal white interior with piano black trim. Although it looks stunning in & out id never get white leather again especially from BMW (Merino leather), had a Mercedes for 10 years with light silver leather & not a single mark/stain/dye transfer & almost no cracking!. Had a couple of dye transfers on the seats & took days to remove which ended up leaving wear marks on the piping, lucky for me it was replaced under warranty on premature wear/tear basis not knowing i caused the damage getting the stains out.

+1 more in the Alpine White/Dakota black leather camp. My last car was a black/black and it was stunning...for the first 20 minutes after I washed it. No matter how I tried to baby it, it showed everything. So no more black cars for me. But I actually like the clean, crisp Alpine White on a BMW so I am quite happy.
I wanted beige interior (in part as I heard it better shows off ambient lighting) but the black is fine too. Though I can't see any light on the door no matter how high I crank it, at least it is easy to keep looking clean. |

This thread is making me doubt my new car colour choices!!
I've had 4 white cars previously, 2 were BMW's - AW / CR combo and my current 640 is the amazing Imola Red with Ivory. My new 440 is probably the hardest to maintain - black sapphire with opal white... Have I gone mad? None of the other colours did it for me. I wanted Grigio Telesto but chose to load up with all the M Performance items instead!!! White is so easy to maintain and shows no swirls!!! I think the black is going to drive me insane

RED! My F30 is Melbourne Red/Black while my E30 is Henna Red/Black. BTW my 57 Vette is Red on Red. And I would do red again however my wife wouldn't let me go red with my last pickup.
