wheel.

pic of 513M with new coat of powder coat.
the original paint was comming off.
I just wanted to look as original as possible.

I ended up going to The Powder Coating company in Oxnard because it was
close and price was same. $340.00 for all 4 wheels stripped and powder coated.
They charge $300.00 for simple BMW silver also.

now looking for tires. I'm looking at 2 options,
235 40 18 and 265 40 18
or 245 40 18 and 275 35 18.

They look nice

If you gonna run same 40 mm profile for front and rear. I suggest
245 40 18 and 265 40 18 .... this will make the front rake less. I run this set but I got 19" so 35 mm profile

Or

245 40 18 and 275 35 18

This will be better choice as the the rear wheel is 10" wide ... less stretch

NOTE: this is only if your lowered. It might poke out if your stock

I think I'm going to try 245 40 18 and 275 35 18.
hopefully 275 35 18 fit in rear.

newly powder coated 513M installed with tires.
tires are 245 40 18 and 275 35 18 which is about 1/2" smaller in diameter than original. So I got 1/4 " more gap on stock Msport height between tire and fender but I intend to lower soon.
tires do poke out the side a little maybe 1/4" but I like it.

I have Instagram messages still saved of them quoting me $260 for 18" wheels in 2016.

I just asked them a few days ago also for 18" wheels and they told me $400.
