Registering F87 battery with enet cable?

I have a friend who wants to register his new battery in his E87. I have the Enet cable and software for my F30. Is it possible to use the same gear with the E87?

No, E series uses different software for coding.. and for battery registering you need to use an app like Carly. Esys doesn't register batteries even for F series..

you can do this with enet cable and ista+ but only for F series...
