305 Forged Wheels

In my quest to find summer wheels for my 340xi I have come across a newer(I think) wheel company out of Miami in 305 Forged Wheels. They have a wheel that I think would look amazing on my Mineral Gray 340 xi in the FT101 in Stealth Grey.

In speaking with them, it is:

BMW Hub Centric

Load rated based on Porsche specs at 1800lbs

The 18" 8.5 35et weigh 18.6 lbs

They fit OEM BMW Centre Caps at 68mm

Have a great warranty and the price is wicked!!!!

What am I missing? Any reason why I would not pull the trigger on these? Anyone have experience with this company and the build quality?

Thanks,

mod bar gains and db motoring in miami sells them however i believe it's exported out of china and there are many distributors in the asian market.

made in china, as cheap as it gets for flow formed. very light in 19's. 1st reviews seem promising but time will tell.

I picked up a set of these in 19in hyper silver for my EBII F30 for super cheap on Black Friday. Planning to mount in the next few weeks when it gets a little warmer. They are very light... I’ll review after I get some miles on them.

OEM center caps down fit very well but I as able to modify the 305 center cap accept an OEM cover for a perfect fit.

Can you explain in more detail how you modified the 305Forged center cap with the OEM BMW roundel?

Been thinking about 18s but I think I'm gonna go 19 I think. Worried about big brakes with 18s.

Kind of misleading that their name is 305 Forged Wheels. Thought these would be forged. These show they are flow formed. Still a good price, but you can get similar flow formed wheels for around the same price from better name brands.

Sure, first you need to buy Beamer center caps that are held on by 4 tabs (pic 1). Take center cap apart and trim off tabs.

Then take the 305forged center cap and remove their logo sticker and trim off lip around entire edge of center cap. I used a file so center cap was a nice smooth dome. You will also need to file edge so Beamer cap fits over it. I then used silicone to glue together. I only have a pic of final product.

Can you show a close up side view of the caps in the wheels? Thanks for this explanation!

Once I got forged wheels for one car, I had to get them for the rest. It totally worth it. There is a lot of good deals on eBay from time to time too if you are into 3 piece stuff.

Please let me know about anything you find out about them! I'm about to pull the trigger on the FT-107s. Many people say they are Chinese imported, but nobody knows about the quality of them.

There a some good reviews on YouTube. Not many up on 305forged in general though. I think bagged_b58 on Instagram has the 107s... I could be wrong though

Hmm... so my OEM center caps don't look like that. They look like these:

Do you have the part number for the ones with the tabs?

the center caps off an e46 will more than likely fit. BMW changed them to be slightly larger starting with the e90.

Wheels look good to me. Probably just another company having a Chinese company make the wheels and then slap a center cap on with their name to call it their own. nothing new here.

F30 OEM are 68mm, e46 from I can see is just under 65mm.

The center caps for these wheels are 67mm. You can jam a 68mm in there from what I hear. Though, I'm not sure I'd advise that

Hmm... so my OEM center caps don't look like that. They look like these:

My OEM caps were the same as yours, I picked up a set of P/N 36136783536 from EBAY for $25.

If you try to jam an F30 center cap it doesn't fully seat and sticks out about 1/8", doesn't look great IMO. Here's mine after mounting on car.

Thanks, best part is the 12lb weight reduction per wheel, you can really feel it.

Rear - 19x9.5 ET40 275/35R19
