Rear view and top view at the same time?
Was watching a video demonstrating the Cross Traffic Assistant in a car that has NBT EVO (ID6) and the screen showed the rear view and top view at the same time. Is this possible in our cars??

I believe the vehicles that have this feature have ICAM(2) for cameras and also BDC so I'm not sure it can be retrofit. Then again guys have put these systems into the E90 platform so anything is possible.

If it is iDrive 7.0, then I doubt at this time it could be retrofitted into either. |

The video I saw was clearly id6, plus in the NBT Evo coding there are entries where you can select which video hardware is installed, our cars have TRSVC whereas the G20 has ICAM. But since newer cars use BDC for many of the functions that FEM controls in our cars (among others) I don't know how much you'd need to retrofit just to get a new module to work.

I went back and found the thread but looking at it again I believe it is ICAM from an F15, not the G series ICAM2 that I suspect supports the dual top-view and rear view. Furthermore, the poster seems to be unable to actually code it due to it requiring a BDC module which our cars don't have, at least not without a substantial amount of extra work to bench code it.
