Are you sure you have a KSW unit and these updates are for you? If the update menu is locked behind some passcode, then it's probably some other unit that we don't support here.

Yes, you can update it to A12.

I always had the impression in X.Y that the first digit X referred to major release, and the Y referred to patches/bug fixes.

Not when it come to Chinese, they simply run out of 3.x.x numbers. They don't follow any standard, not when it come to versioning, nor when it comes to code itself.

I installed v 4.07 yesterday and so far I haven't noticed anything different from v 3.96. wish there was something nice I could write about here but there isn't. Maybe there are some subtle changes I haven't noticed. Maybe.

with my Snapdragon 625 unit I have display problems with apps designed for portrait viewing only. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to force portrait view for some specific apps? none of the apps available in the store worked

I don't get it...
1. Are these app not displaying at all? What's wrong?
2. Why do you want to force some apps to be displayed sideways? Because this is what portrait mode on a table does. How is that helpful?

I'm having problems with apps that aren't designed for landscape mode

in some of these, such as for example Dragy, the main page is cut and without the possibility of scrolling preventing the use of some functions that are available at the bottom of the screen.
in other tuning apps the scroll works but some elements such as the round live gauges of the car parameters are deformed and unreadable

Couple of problems here:
1. Clearly these apps are badly designed. I appreciate that you have a specific use case for them and it's not your fault, but man... who writes apps like that?!
2. I'm not entirely sure if you can even enable screen rotation on these units. Chinese crippled these systems on purpose and if I'm not mistake, they forced permanent landscape mode to avoid random apps rotating the screen. You can kinda see where they're coming from - once installed, it will always be in landscape mode unless you crash your car and land on its side... I doubt you will be trying to use your apps then 😂

Not sure if you've tied but look for screen rotation setting and if you find them, enable that option. Then maybe get something like Rotation Manager app, where you can control rotation on app by app basis... but then I as said previously you will end up with content displayed sideways - not sure if tilting your head while driving to read the screen is the best idea.

I have purchased Android radio like it is visible on enclosed pictures. When I connect it to Audi concert it starts normally however it doesn't communicate with the car. I wonder if it is able to communicate with car or maybe it is dedicated for another car trade mark and model. Please let me know.

Make sure that everything is plugged in correctly and securely. Also double check your screen settings in the factory settings menu - maybe try all of them one by one.

looking at your screenshot it definitely looks like you have the right unit. So most likely it's a wire connection issue. as suggested above, replug them one-by-one. also make sure the all the cables are connected. try reaching out to the seller for support.
