Looking for a set of OEM rear shocks with EDC for my 340i xdrive. Just exploring options before purchasing new. Thanks, Nick |

I've heard that Bilstein B6 Damptronic are the way to go. Would think that may be a better option than used stock EDC dampers that could leak and go bad on you at any time. Unless you aren't keeping the car long.

You are correct to be concerned, but when I was researching for someone else I remember that it was possible to replace just one axle at a time. Bilstein's product literature says to replace in pairs (as opposed to singles). They don't say that they must be replaced in fours. Farkle! Is the guy to double check with on this subject. See what his opinion is on replacing just the rears with B6 Damptronic since the OEM Adaptive front pair has recently been replaced. |
