Thanks for the write up, Really helped a lot during my installation. The process took me an hour by myself.

Here's a picture of mine in Oyster Dakota Leather trim

Great looking mods. Really like the dark carbon and alcantara contrast against the oyster/beige.

Did you install the gear lever and surround yourself too? Would you mind sharing how to installed those bits if so?

Thanks.

Thanks! I didn't expect it to turn out so well myself. For the gear surround I wedged a small flat head screwdriver between the gaps and leveraged the piece out.

Has anyone done this on a saddle brown luxury line?

I'm thinking about getting this myself but I'm having mixed thoughts on how this will look.

Great thanks for the tip.

I'm having a tough time of removing mine (though it is an F20 hatch), think I am being TOO gentle.

I just installed mine yesterday and am really liking it, though has anyone else noticed that the passenger side air vent does not have the shine black ring around it?

Slightly off topic so apologizing in advance, but does anyone know if the M Performance Carbon Fiber Shift Knob & Alcantara Boot for F30/31 comes in RHD and LHD variants or is it one size fits all?

I need a little help. I ordered the performance trim (part # 51952230351) for my F31 2014. I do not have the updated 2014 idrive that is on the 2014 F30's. When I installed the idrive trim piece there was a 3mm gap around the idrive controller. Is the new idrive controller larger? I can't find a different part number for 2013 or 2014 F30's. Anyone else have this problem? thx

The Side AC Vent take a little bit of pressure to pull off. The vent is firmly clipped in.

I didn't have that issue, the trim is compatible with both controllers.

Yeah I don't know why I had an issue. The trim is being returned. I'm just worried to order again. Name: Image 1.jpg

This is quite strange. Is the M Performance trim kit only for those who have the navigation iDrive?
