Best option for 328i tuning upgrade?

I know this topic has been asked 219483109481 times but the info is kind of scattered and there are quite a few options on the market today ...

I am looking for more power now for my stock car and hopefully in the future i will upgrade the downpipe / charge pipe.

Is my best option the JB4?

Quick upgrade... im reading that a downpipe will not allow me to pass inspections and can void my warranty if dealer finds out so im not going to upgrade it.

does this limit me to stage 1 tune?

Best bang for the buck, GSR tune or JB4 with 93 octane. Stage 1 will make the car feel like a 335. Anything beyond that is for bragging rights and track use. Sure you could do downpipe, stage 2, e85, get the 328 to 60mph in 4-4.2 seconds and humiliate a m4 driver but how often will that happen?

Stage 1 and you have 335-like power for 8k less than they spent, not bad.

Thats not bad at all. So a stage one is techniqally a plug and play option? I use 93 octane on my car regardless so i like this option.

Now the questions... If i wanted to splurge on a stage 1, is there an option that will give me more power?

Also my car is still under warranty and has the maintenance plan? Will this affect those in anyway?

I am considering RC Ultimate or AA8?

They seem to have a better build quality and give better gains. Anyone with any idea what to go for?

All piggyback add 3.5 to 4,0 psi on a stock car so gains are the same on all of them.

If you are getting downpipes in the future, JB4 is a must . It is the only tune that is stage 2 and has optimized maps for extra mods.

I sent you a link of my comparison thread, it is a good read that explains the different options.

If you are going to go tune only then go with BMS stage1, but like you mention you want downpipes, etc. then the best bet is to go with the full JB4 and grab the optional USB cable.

Probably looking at 60-80 gains across the power band.

Hey guys, where can i find info on e85 mixtures.

Im thinking of using 30% e85 mixture and connecting the fuel flex wires of my jb4.

Is map 5 the one to use? Will i feel the difference over map 1 on 93 octane?

Is it safe for a completely stock car?

Map 5 works best with E85

I have seen couple N20 fail.
I recommend staying on the conservative side and not to run a map higher than map 2
