Hey guys so just recently a piece of the plastic headlight broke don’t ask how 🤦🏽*♂️ But I was wondering if I could just replace the plastic cover or if I have to replace the whole headlight. And where I could find these parts thanks!

You can replace the cover, but unless you've taken apart a headlight before it may not turn out well. You'll introduce dust inside the housing, and if you don't seal it well there will be moisture/condensation forming. Taking the whole thing apart isn't a peach either, you may have to bake it open.

Check car-part or flea bay first for whole used headlights, other than that just google f30 headlight lens cover and you'll get several. I know the 3 series is more common and has a different design than the 4, but they are out there.

No.

I did some searching and only hits for the 3 series come up. There are whole assemblies (minus electronics) available from car part or ebay, probably your best bet. You could also file an insurance claim...
