All good mate!

Hopefully you now have an understanding of how it all works at least. As I said mate I am happy to help you when the new car turns up.

You just have to wait now!

Be safe.

Minijet, drk289, KT, and H, it was great meeting up! Always good to put faces and names to Nicks ;-)

Thanks H for organising and for the quick code. You are a great human being!

Nice pix drk280!

Btw It's great not having to dismiss that disclaimer!

On the way back down to sydney, things were quet in the freeway until i floored it and shot from 100-120 to overtake a mid sized jap car. A couple of V8 commodores behind me saw that, got excited and decided to fly past me.

Typical.

I'm sorry to have missed this meeting. I picked up my car yesterday and spent today getting the Honda detailed, photographed and listed on car sales. How was the coding? Is it very easy to change settings?

Seriously, the hardest thing about the "normal" coding is downloading the files and getting the program set up on your laptop. It's just a matter of using the program, highlighting folders and changing values.

VO coding is another story, so far. I tried to do something on Minijet's car for the brake kit and I couldn't get it to work. Just need a bit more guidance on that one.

On another note and OT but what the heck.

I managed to get away from home this morning a bit earlier so I decided I go a but further down the freeway and then jumped onto the old road and made my way back to Peats Ridge.

I preface these comments with the fact that I know the old road very well having riden on it almost every weekend for a period of many years.

I don't care what anyone says the car is a great car to drive!

I set the chassis and drivetrain to sports, set the driver mode to sports and off I went. Given the car is only two days old I was short shifting where I needed, whilst still driving fast enough in the misty conditions.

The car was very solid and just good fun.

Having owned one without the suspension and the sports seats I feel I am in a good place to also make this comment, if I was advising anyone on what to put into their car the first things would be the adaptive suspension and the sports seats. They transform the car!

The third would be the HK sound.

Flame suit on!

Be safe

H

Awesome! I haven't had a drive that much fun yet but I was also extremely impressed with the adaptive suspension and overall fun factor with this car. I can't wait for my first drive to work tomorrow morning! Rain rain go away...,

Yes adaptive suspension and VSS would be the two options that I would consider a MUST.

Hey Ckau,

When you mentioned Harrow on Sunday I thought it sounded familiar.

I've been to Mute Records which is on Harrow Road a few times.

You didn't end up telling who you supported, hope its not Arsenal!

I'd be keen for a meet up if I can make it.

Can you code to have the navigation disclaimer/warning deactivated on start up?

I've had the car for 4 days now and loving it. No rattles, no squeaks, everything works. One surprise was voice command of the idrive system - totally awsome!

Still waiting for a dry road in Sydney though.

This can be done very easily, you would probably want the ASS changed as well.

I have since found out the instruction I recived around the VO coding missed one step. Hopefully now I can do it without a problem.
