Dinan sport and dp

Hello everyone,
I am nearly full bolt on ( castles dp, intercooler and dv+ ). As I cannot trust local flash tunes I decided to go with a simple boost controller and adjust it for an extra 3psi of boost.

Has anyone experienced any problems with the n26 engine and a cat less dps. After a bit of research I saw a thread with the newer b48 engine having problems with catless dp and a boost controller.

Will I have any problems with this?

He said local flash tune that might be something different that BM3. Maybe he can't get BM3 in Turkey? Don't know.

No problem with a simple boost controller like the Jb+

That being said, you get a lot more power and value if you use a complete tuner. I recommend the Jb4 or Bootmod3

You only need an internet and a PC to install BM3. You could be in Timbuktu and you still can get it.

Some countries restrict internet access although I don’t think turkey is one of them. They have been known to install spyware into phones to track people though. But that happens all over the place 😀

I guessed that the conversation would steer into bm3 eventually.

The reason I did NOT go with bm3 is because I am getting the dinan sport used for a very good price and I am not ready to spend 500$+ currently for a tune.

I only want a mild tune for the car.

Getting back to the issue, will a boost controller and catless dp have any issues like the b48 cars?

No, that'll work fine. But as mentioned above, you're leaving a lot on the table with just a boost controller, but as long as you know that, go ahead with the Dinan sport, you shouldn't have any problems.

I have dinan sportronics, which is simply a boost controller, and a catless down pipe and not problems. Once I got the second down stream OS sensor spaced just right away from the stream, I have not got a check engine light in 2000 miles. The setup is ok but I will got to BM3 sometime soon.
