It depends on the box/map. Some are more aggressive than others.

As a guideline you're looking at around 50hp increase and 40 lb/ft torque. Not bad at all. 235hp post may let's say for argument sake. Should see 0-60 of high 6 seconds.

Is this it ?

will the noise of the 420d engine change ?
Yes that's the one. Not a huge change in note. Slightly less rattling noise and a tiny bit quieter as ticking over a bit faster. Not leaps and bounds though.

To get the most from the set up. I recommend a race chip xlr.

By the time you have put all that money into it a proper custom tune still works out cheaper and better. Even if the dealer wipes it off in a software update most tuners are understanding and will reapply for a small fee. Or you can always tell the dealer: no updates to the car without my authorisation.
thanks for you knowledge was really helpful. I'll probably look into remapping the car stage 1 tbh. I think it would increase the power as well as the sound??

What do you mean increase the sound?

It won't change much in sound but will go the other way and be less louder.

If you're looking for a nicer fart though then your best bet is the exhaust:

There are many exhaust options and a wheel barrow exhaust will look nice. That's the way to go if you want more sound.

That exhaust looks nice but I don't think it will sound like the 435 and will loook too fake.

what I'm thinking of doing is remapping the car then putting a twin pipe like the 430d so it sounds and looks like a more powerful car.

here's more pics of the car
