Lack of a death sentence, there should be capital punishment in the U.K. I don't care if we have the odd innocent going down, such is life, just means we can get rid of some seriously warped individuals. It would mainly apply to those warped people. Screen them on TV, with Xfactor for new executioner or pick how they die. Would recoup plenty cash.

Not sure that's how it works. Plenty people don't like a government and will campaign and protest against it. Isn't that also democracy?
