Hi guys,

I just installed this 10.25 inch screen from aliexpress in my bmw f31. It is the EW960WADCP from Andream:

Does anybody have some more information on this unit?
First I had the mmi unit from andream, but I wanted to upgrade my screen to a bigger size, so therefore switched to this unit.

Things i'm missing now:
- I have an aftermarket front and rear camera, it seems I cannot get the front camera to work. Anybody knows which settings and cable to use?
- when I hit the back button on my idrive, I get back to the main menu from this unit, instead of 1 screen back in my current app, Anyone knows if this is normal or a setting?
- is there a way to check if this is the latest firmware, and where to find, how to install?

I've just ordered one of these units but waiting on delivery. I used to have an Andream MMI box in my previous car but wanted a bigger screen with carplay built in for this car.

To answer question 1: I don't think you can switch to an after market front camera because normally you would have a button in the car to activate the front parking sensors and presumably that would also show the front camera. Presumably you don't have that button or front parking sensors?

That thread is for an Android head (as opposed to android auto/carplay only) unit so different hardware and software.
