I've got a 2017 LCI F30 with heated seats and electrical lumbar support but manual adjustment.
I've bought a 2015 m3 F80 interior but there is 4 extra pins on the connector block of the new seats.
Does anyone have any know how to wire this into the main harness.
Do I need to swap airbags/ seat tensioner etc. From the old seats onto the new seats?
Is there any coding required ?
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated...

Apres l'ajout 494 il faut coder les module suivant:

VO FEMbody=(module avant)
VO IHKA=(console de la clim)
VO SM=(module du siège)

Using ISTA the SMFA is RED and with ESYS isn’t possibile to CODE, because it’s Not visible. I think that this SMFA is Passive mode, in Pre LCI it want ACTIVE MODE.

I am interested to learn more about the seat interchange options for the F30.

Mine's got 200K now and the drivers seat is starting to show it, the door panels have some blems, the passenger seat has a small gouge, etc.

I have seen a few interesting options on EBay but would rather know I can make it all work before I invest >$1500 for an interior upgrade.

if you install new seats you must recover the 2 airbags and the module under the original driver seat and install them on your new seats

Do you know if those fit all the various seat options from the higher models like 330, 335, or M3?

What other cars will work? Heard the 4 series uses same interior parts...

Hi there, I'm thinking of swapping heated seats in my BMW F31 2016 Sport (post LCI) to my current car BMW F31 2017 M Sport (non heated seats). I own both cars and I can play around with them as long as i need. Would i get any issues with this swap? I will also move the radio unit across, across. Any suggestions if any coding is required? Anything i should be aware of? Great thanks in advance!

you will need to add the heated seat option by coding and wiring for the power supply
add the air conditioning console with the heated seat buttons
