Costco

One of the best places in the world to relieve you of your wages.

Used to go ages ago when my parents had a membership but hadn’t been for a few years, I signed up last weekend myself.

Man do I want that 75 inch TV, keter shed and 8 pairs of Pringle undies.

One of the few shops I don't mind going to. We go around once a month or so but it is virtually impossible to go there and not spend £100+ but you do get some good bargains, fresh meat selection is very good and you can look around the tools, TV's and sports stuff while the strife is looking at rubbish.

I only buy my fuel from Tesco and only St Helens Tesco, my autism makes me do regular things but is the price that much cheaper?

ETA we walked past the tyre bay and I commented that I can’t remember the last time I bought tyres for a car, I think it was 2012.

Fuel is cheaper but be aware if you use a credit card Costco debit £99 to check the card before you get the fuel. Then they debit the cost of the fuel on top of that. If you use a debit card they only debit £1 to check the card.

It can take a couple of hours before the £99 is refunded. I ended up the other day using my credit card instead of my debit card and having over £150 shown as pending on my card account.

How much is their fuel? Presumably cheaper than your average supermarket?

I'm a Costco regular, and in every couple of weeks or so. Only occasionally wonder around all the isles, just tend to go get our usuals.
Just upgraded to the executive membership as gives you further discounts.

Usually a bit below even Supermarket.

Diesel about 1.27 and Premium Peteol about a penny more I think. They do a lesser petrol too.

I go to the Manchester one near the Trafford Centre and there's an ASDA right by, I'd say honestly feels about 50:50 in terms of how popular each is, ASDA being a bit more expensive. Costco fuel is certainly catching on.

I find most products not really any cheaper than having a good look online - yes you can collect there and then, but also the fact you can't gain much on vat now via limited company.

For bulk buy and convience yes.

We love Costco too, went at the weekend and lusted over an 85" TV they had on offer. Bizarrely also checked out one of their Keter sheds too!

Wish they did fuel at ours, have used Costco Fuel from other locations and it's generally cheaper than the nearest supermarket.

Yes,there are bargains in the food section but their cakes and desserts are all made to US standards...loaded with sugar so they don’t really taste of anything else.

Good and cheap for bulk buys of car shampoo and screen wash in the motoring section.

Fuel
Pizza
Endless oi based of things you don't need
Massive TVs

Unsubscribing from their emails has saved me a small fortune!
