Restore ID6 to original after USB coding?

Hi there,

Recently I purchased RTTI through USB coding, which wasn't working in the end because it actually was the activation of TMC which I already had active in my 2018 F31...stupid I know.

After USB coding the ConnectedDrive Store in iDrive wasn't accessible anymore but that couldn't bother me enough...everything else kept working fine.

Recently I upgraded my base stereo system with Focal speakers and wanted to code HU_NBT from base to hifi with Bimmercode.

Since the USB thing Bimmercode shows an error when reading HU_NBT
How can I basically reset or restore my ID6 to factory or do I need to ask the dealer?

Thanks!

You can ask your dealer, but i'm not sure if he knows how to restore the HU.
I think he will update the software from the whole car which will also restore the HU_NBT.
But you can also buy an enet cable (cheap), get the E-Sys software (free) and do it yourself.
