I’m looking at getting kardean flooring for my living and just wondering what’s your experience if you’ve got it or have you got any alternatives ?

Thanks

We have some Karndean, some Amtico and some Moduleo. They’re all pretty similar in my view, but all of them are pretty much bullet-proof, so pick the one you like the look and feel of.

We have Karndean throughout our downstairs. Great flooring. Has taken a hammering over the last 5 years and looks good as new with a quick once over. 15 year guarantee too, if laid by an accredited installer. Woukd recommend and will use again.

Yup, thumbs up from me too.

Had many compliments, mostly thinking it was lovely wooden flooring.

Would recommend getting a good fitter.

We have Karndean Van Gogh range all downstairs, been down for 8 years and still looks good. People offer mistake it for real wood.

My experience is the same as above.

We've had Karndean French oak throughout the hall for the past 10 years and it looks as good today as the day it was installed. Bomb-proof and often mistaken for real oak flooring.

Definitely get it professionally installed.

We have karndean in our hallways and kitchen been down in the kitchen 3 years and had it extended into our hallways a few months ago and the match is perfect.

Really happy with it and takes a bashing from our 2 year old and dog no problem.

Depending on the finish required and the application try Moduleo, not such a big range as the others, but quite a bit cheaper and effectively the same.

We have amtico pale cream tiles which have really lasted well over the 6 years we have had them. A couple of minor scratches but overall they have been excellent.

I've had Amtico and Karndean in previous homes and currently have Karndean throughout 80% of current house. We love it, for same reasons as above. It's bombproof and looks great. Both great quality, but Karndean was significantly less expensive.

It's great stuff, recently purchased a house with it in the kitchen and office found the receipt 2003! The floor is in great condition, cleans up real well.

I just looked at the wear layer to make sure it was comparable as I think there are some cheap ones with really thin top I’ll try and post a pic of the polyflor now in my kitchen been down 4 years and has a few minor marks where our sofa has been dragged over it many a times but all other areas are like new ( the scratches are pretty minor I’m just picky)

We've got Amtico flooring in the kitchen - very similar to Karndean which we also looked at. It's been down 4 years now and has been really good so far.

Karndean & Antico are great products have specified both professionally for years. If I had to call it I would say Karndean has the edge quality wise. But either product is down to the workmanship/care/experience of the fitters.

I've managed to get 8m2 Amtico for my hallway and thinking of going for Polyflor for my living room as it's 21m2 to save a few quid
