Heat is your friend. And be mindful of the direction of the weave if you're doing CF.

adhesive promotor on the inside lips are a lifesaver to avoid the vinyl pulling up.
Thank you! Have you found adhesive promoter is needed even in the interior pieces?

LED BMW Logo Puddle Lights

I installed these last night: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

OMG! This site really needs to stop turning my portrait oriented pics on their side.

What adhesive promoter do you recommend and where do you apply it (full surface or backside, or...)?

I was just about to ask

Also, does using this make it more difficult to apply the vinyl (for someone who has never wrapped)?

Use 3m packs ( like alcohol pads) NEVER NEVER put it on the front side. When you remove the trim you will tuck the vinly behind the trim, this flat area is where you would apply. I attached a picture reference, if you get it anywhere besides this remove it before continuing, this creates an ultra right Bond and will not let go but that's the point.

So apply the promoter on the edges of the trim, but not to the main surfaces (the front) or the back where the vinyl gets tucked?

How much did it cost? I got mine wrapped and absolutely love the look, looks great on alpine white. Also got the taillights and all reflectors tinted, not too dark, the reflection is still there, kinda completes the look, along with CF mirror caps.

Only a couple hundred bucks. So not too bad. Yeah you have to have them at a certain tint, not too smoked or not too lite. I last had that on myE46 and loved it. But I also really like how the led's look on these lights.

That's really cheap. I paid more for the wrap. How's the paint quality? I will definitely go with paint next time.

Directly from BMW, I know someone at the collision center in Alhambra, they got me plenty, took to the shop just had them use it. Came out amazing. When I wash the car (cause it very dirty right now) I'll post some better pics of the work. Close ups as well.

I got them from Schmiedmann in Denmark. Wasn't cheap but I don't like aftermarket solutions.

Tried my hand at wrapping for the first time. Not perfect but I'm happy with them.

Three door pulls, two whiskers, and one shifter surround left to wrap.

Shout out to youtubers JD Cars and Kies Motorsports for the excellent video tutorials.

After toiling over reviews I went with Vvivid XPO.
