edit: i just went on bmwusa and picked the EXACT same options (less the bs options) and the 435i is $2.5k more than the 335i....i don't see your point.....thats like saying you can get a similarly equipped (but less option'd) m3 for cheaper than a 435i. yeah no way the coupe is cheaper no matter how you option it the exact same way--the coupe starts out at about $2.5k more to begin with..unless poster was referring to Audi vs BMW? |

Tbh, the coupe was more than the sedan anyways...can't use that as an "excuse" for the moniker change. My guess is logistical ease took precedence over nostalgic consumers...only constant is change!

I used to have exact same E92 with black, but F32 looks better maybe because of Msport. F32 without Msport looks pretty bad to me.

Personally think the 4-series is miles ahead. Much more aggressive looking. The e92 3-series is much too rounded for my taste; looks to "soft" to me.

I’ll still go E92 Msport over F32 Msport all day. The 4 from behind looks like an X6 that got stepped on. The front looks pretty sweet though, likely because it carries the general lines from the F30, which is a beautiful sedan.

Both cars look good actually. The e92 doesn't look dated at all, and it doesn't even have M-Sport on it. Both look great in my opinion.

I have to agree w/ the comments on the rear of the f32. It looks so much higher than I was expecting. With the X-drive label on the trunk and the swooping roofline I almost confused it for a GT. Not to say its not a good looking car, but rear angles aren't flattering.

I have seen both cars side by side in the dealers, E92 by itself is a very nice car for its age, but obviously when put next to the F32 it looks outdated, F32 looks so sharp with mpack in person, photos don't do justice.

Need a better comparison. Need an MSport E92 next to the MSport F32.

I've heard about it, sat behind the wheel of my friend's Toyobaru and it's very much the same, but not as pronounced and SUV-ish like in the F30 so it's OK.

I have seen a few 4Series in person and they are a little funky looking even in Msport trim, something is just not right.
As a former owner of E92 in Msport trim - I feel e92 looks nicer.

It's not fair to compare an SE model v an M sport! It will be a biased decision, saying that even though I have had 3 e93's, I do think the f32 looks much nicer than the e9's series..
