Ran my friends new 2017 F80 M3 ZCP DCT last night. He was stock with e30 mix. I was running 93/race gas. 335 would crawl away. Those Ms are very stout! Videos below.

He flashed the BMW CS map after and it was significantly faster, he put about a car on me from 40 rolls. Thankfully he didn't run his high boost, e30 map... would have not been pretty for me!

I had a look... I couldn't find a speck of dust on that picture of your interior. That is some serious OCD, but good job... looks great.

Ha! Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing sometimes ... I like to keep the car clean, both inside and out. Thanks!

Great build!!! I have the same car except a 15" EWG and looking into the PS2 this winter. Have you looked into the stage 2 LPFP... its cheap and supposed to be enough for the 18PSI or more... Just ordered one...

Where in Jersey are you?

Thanks! Im in Bergen County NJ.

Yes I've looked in the the LPFP upgrade... but that isn't the bottleneck with the PS2. The bottleneck is the HPFP for fueling. They have a single pump HPFP upgrade out now, but its around $2.3k for the piece. I am entertaining that for my setup, but I'm looking for some more real world results/data. I'm told that pump can handle 20+ psi and 500whp + on pump gas.

Visually not a ton has changed, but I decided to give the car a full makeover as there was a few imperfections on my front lip/bumper just from being low and highway driving... honestly I probably didn't need to do it, but I figured I'll keep the car a few more years so I might as well protect it and keep it looking good while I was at it. End result is amazing! At first we were moving forward with just the xpel wrap, but there was a few rock chips that basically look amplified once the wrap is over it... so I went ahead and did a full front end nose respray (front bumper, front lip) and then proceeded with opti coat pro ceramic coating on entire car and Xpel Paint Protection Film was applied on Front Bumper, Lip, Headlights and B & C Pillars. I will now be swirl and rock chip free

Opti Coating has 5 year protection rating and warranty and xpel wrap has 10 year protection. They did a flawless job, you literally can't tell anything is on the entire car and the paint is extremely deep and glossy. Pics don't do it justice, but I'm very happy how it turned out.

Congrats. My only thoughts are don't skip the hood too quickly. I got a partial hood done and it was great until I lowered it, but now that I'm on coilovers I've noticed a few rock chips just above the line where the xpel stops I think getting partial fenders done was a waste but I would definitely do my full hood the next go around.

Ok, I guess ill leave this here.

Told myself I'd enjoy my current PS2 setup for a while... well that lasted long

Though its a great setup and very fun... I'm running pretty conservative boost (16 psi on 93 octane) on the bigger pure stage 2 turbo and I just feel like I'm not tapping into the turbos potential. I picked up the new TTFS XDI HPFP upgrade, which flows 36% more then the stock HPFP, which is the bottleneck I'm running into right now. This will allow me to 1) run more boost 2) run ethanol mixes (higher octane, better/higher timing advance) 3) avoid HPFP crashes associated with higher boost.

Reasons I picked this setup over port injection or meth injection:
1. DME has complete control over fueling
2. I don't need to run an external controller to control fueling - JB4 and PI seems to be hit and miss sometimes as far as smoothness and drivability.
3. This pump is supposedly capable of 500+ whp and is ethanol friendly.

I'm still at the early stages and not sure when I'll be throwing everything in & tuning, but more updates to come!

Do you hermetically seal your car when you are not using it? I swear to God I have never seen a cleaner car than yours !! Looks fantastic man.

Really interested in hearing about the PS2 turbo and the changes. I am running my N55 with meth and FBOs and it MAYBE gets 16/17 PSI. it is a massive difference from stock, especially the torque, but it isn't enough. I have been debating the PS2 route, and modding the front control arm bushings to get more camber (I don't have camber plates due to the noise). I think with the PS2, and more camber up front, this would be exactly what I want - so I am following your build carefully.

after the respray, how long did you have to wait for it to gas off so you could wrap it in xpel? ive heard 30 days is needed.

Nice touch on the b pillar. i need to polish mine yearly because of how swirled it gets. I should xpel those. Surprised they didnt remove at least the kidney grills for the xpel

Haha Thanks man!!

PS2 pulls a lot harder topend vs stock turbo - esp. after 5.5k to redline.... holds boost nicely too. Aiming for around 19-20 psi with strong timing (10 degrees or so) on e30 with the new setup with FLASH ONLY.

I would wait at least a week according to my buddy who did the xpel and ceramic. The shop I worked with double baked it so it cured quicker. We waited a few days. The xpel on B pillars was an awesome touch, and definitely worth it to me. No matter how much you polish them, they will swirl up after a couple washes. Won’t have that issue with the wrap.

I;ve been watching your car build for a while, hoping it motivates me to pull the trigger on a pure stage 2 over the other big turbo options; mostly hesitant because of the pump gas performance. Do you plan to see just how far the PS2 can push on 93oct. alone or are you not even going to attempt a more consolidated revision for it since you got the XDI hpfp? My plans will most likely mirror the precedent you're setting( you're the only person i know who is running the ugraded hpfp and is being completely transparent about their build).

Doing a baseline on my current tune before more fueling comes into play so I can measure the delta. I should have some new pump gas numbers very soon!

Also - I've dyno'd PS2 previously on pump... video of pull is a page back. I did 409 whp / 455trq on 15 psi and 453 whp / 466trq on ~17.5 psi (with the HPFP crashing basically the entire pull ) ... current tune runs 16 psi with cleaner timing and absolutely no HPFP crashes... I'm thinking it'll be in between the two figures posted above.
