Waited 3 long months! Then decided to let them sit in my trunk for a few weeks. It was nice not having to worry about red lights.

Well done man!
I'd ordered my CF canards meanwhile and await them within the next days.

New M-inspired carbon fiber mirror caps. These are more refined than my originals, IMO. I like the curves/lines.

Waiting for more trim pictures. I wonder how the black aluminum looks like.

Please show pics of the new covers attached! I wasn't a fan of the old ones you had, but these new ones seem to look much better! Great find

That's been replaced by real carbon fiber trim.

Not installed yet. I'm thinking about getting them somewhat paint matched or ferric grey if I'm feeling adventurous.

I'm currently evaluating my financial situation. Buy spacers now or just put the $200 that would buy me f/r spaces towards wheels. Spacers would be immediate, wheels would be within the next 6 months.

Unless I find a set of used spacers, I will likely just put the money towards new wheels.

BMW-009 fits mine perfectly. The website does a good job of helping you choose which one you need. With this mount, my rearview mirror seems to have more than enough range of motion to be adjusted for my needs.

https://store.blendmount.com/mirror-...009-c1772.aspx

The BlendMount is very expensive. I had a cheap $15 universal one on my Jeep that worked just fine. But the BlendMount is VERY well built AND engineered. It can be tilted up/down/left/right, rotated (pointed) left/right, and has height adjustment.

I got the mirror caps already installed at my car and love the M-fake look very much
Was first affraid of some more wind noise at higher speeds but wasnt necessary. The CF look is very good for my purposes and even more better than the very expensive oem caps from Bimmer.
Question to the small M-logo onto your climate control: Where to get that?

And pics with the new caps installed?

Would be great.

Thanks
