I have a 2018 340i with the mppks power and sound kit. This is the first time I decided to go with BMW tuning and exhaust instead of a JB4 and an aftermarket exhaust set up on a bmw.

But that question is, Has anyone gotten the MPPKs and taken off the MPE and replaced it with another aftermarket exhaust. How was the sound ? Or any suggestion on marking the MPE sound better

Also what are the current options for additional tuning for people who have the MPPKs kit for more power ?

Thank you

I'm running catless DP and Jb4 on top of MPPSK and could not be happier.

Some will point to poor gas quality capping the incremental gains from JB4. I've had no issues running map 3 (on 93 octane) whatsoever. Logs look great as confirmed by Terry. Car put down 423 rwhp & 473 rwtq on E20.

Thank you. I’ve been thinking of adding the jb4 as long as it doesn’t make the car feel sloppy when it shits gears

It doesn't! I have the MPPSK on my 340i and also added the JB4 and Agency power intake. Tomorrow i'm getting my CG precision catted downpipe installed. For now can only run map 2 as the map 3 the timing is not that great and running lean a bit. Will try map 3 again after the DP installation and will see!

But totally worth it!

Your profile says your 340i is a manual transmission car, so any sloppy shifting would be through no fault but your own

I think his concern is over rough shifts of the 8AT automatic transmission.

Any updates? I have a 2016 340i xDrive 8AT MPPSK and am planning to add JB4, VSRF catless DP, and the Agency Power intake. I'd like to run standard maps and don't plan on logging or customizing maps. Anyone run into issues with a similar setup?
Thx
T.

So Far I added the AP intake. Still debating on if I want a JB4 or to go DINAN since I want my daily to not be jumpy and want the power to be linear

But once I get a tune I’ll update you.

Thanks!
I placed my order for the components above last week, so I'll do the same...

blckz06 and @bmw5858 Do you guys feel you need the catless downpipe and/or intake to add the JB4 to an MPPSK car? Or can I get just the JB4 and enjoy the power gains?

Neither is able to overcome the ZF AT torque limits and hard shifts.
