Just spoke with Fuel It

They are saying that what is stopping them from releasing anything relating to a HPLP fuel pump being offered for the B58 or as they put it, before they even start working on that as a solution they need data. They say they have had conversations with B58 owners about getting something done but once they ask for logs or data they get no response. Obviously I know tuning solutions for our cars are still in the infancy stages besides mission performance I'm not sure anyone else out there has a full tune yet. But they need data from a B58 with a quality full tune and need to review logs and data before they start putting out a product and guaranteeing it's going to fix a said issue. They are in no way convinced that the stock B58 hplp fuel pump is even the issue. Once they get data of a B58 and see with a full tune how the AFRs and HPFP reacts to it and what the tune is communicating with the ECU then they can step in and provide something. Right now they aren't even trying and dude was pretty frustrated about it as well, I'm going to work on trying to get some data to them and I encourage others with Alex's tune to do the same. If we want more power and wanna run 91 or 93 octane and other stuff we gotta start somewhere.
Sorry for the long post but I thought this could maybe be helpful.
Sincerely,
Quest for more boost continues!

As soon as I'm flashed, I'll send them logs. Was contemplating purchasing the MP flash next week, but it looks like they're busy moving for the next few weeks.

Someone school me. We need a HPFP to feed a higher volume of 91 octane fuel to the motor? It isn't quality that we're having a problem with? With Alex's tune...we're not maxed out in fueling, so what's the issue? Just more fuel to up the boost?

Also, are we looking for 4th gear pull logs? Can you be more specific?

Someone on here was getting a custom tune for his Stage 3 turbos from Alex. He had to use meth of course. In other words, they can create more stages of maps as we have access to additional fueling. I personally would rather have upgraded LPFP's than having to run meth with the jb4.

The software fuel cap was eliminated with the flash which is great for cars with less mods, but the fueling hardware is still a limitation for higher HP applications like those with upgraded turbos.

I recently got pure stage 1 and in order to up the boost safely we need either more fuel or, as Fuel It said they need to see how the ECU is reacting to a full tuned car. Does the tune impact fuel delivery? What parts of the car are actually being tuned? How is the car reacting to the tune so they know where they need to support in order to turn up the boost. 4th gear logs, 1st gear logs any and all logs is what they are looking for. They have no eyes with a fully tuned B58 right now and need some test cases in order to do some R & D

Yeah I remember having some conversation with the guy with the m240i with stage 3 from big boost. To my recollection I thought he was just running the throttle body injection I didn't think he was using meth. It'd be nice to get him to clarify that. Fuel it actually referred to big boost on the phone call and alluded to what u are saying, that throttle body injection itself didn't work.

Guys, Fuel-It is still waiting for people sending them actual logs of tuned cars.

Before that, they will not tune their own car and such will not start to work on fuel pump upgrade, so, any good soul out there to help the community please ?

What kind of logs do they need? JB4 logs?

Point of contact?

Also, does it have to be a MP tune, because I am currently running an HC Stage 2 tune.

PS: DynoDay tomorrow

I think a majority of owners gave up on this platform and will be back when more flashes are released on the market.

I totally agree. Without reliable flash tuning options and tools, no one is going to serious dedicate time or resources to pushing this platform.

I think once proTUNING Freaks and other similar products (MHD) finally come to market for the B series motors it will provide companies like FuelIt who manufacture vital components with the data they need to create a solution. Kinda a bummer that DME encryption has been defeated for so long and so few offerings have been brought to market.

And i think Mission tune was the biggest joke released on the market after reading through the entire thread and seeing the dyno results after.

The MP tune is alright, after sales support is non existent though.

When MHD and BM3 are released, with logging and custom tune options, it will really open the platform.
