Key case?

Any recommendations on key case? I was thinking about this one:

I think the fob is too big as it is; I recommend none

The dealer provide free when I got the F80 it's a bit bulky but overall protected the key.

I got a cover/case from Amazon for $7 to prevent my key from coming out. Check there for options?

I ordered this one from Amazon (linked below) and used it for about a week before sending it back. It made the key way too thick and looked ridiculous in a front pocket. Quality was fine though.

I'd only consider a case if it contained a GPS locator chip so I could find the key if I lost it.

I have a silicone key case. It attracts dust but is cheap and does the job.

I like these cheap "Luckeasy" cases. They prevent you from accidentally hitting buttons, and are low profile. I don't put the keychain/lanyard on it. Before I got these cases I'd come out to find my tailgate up all the time! I just picked up another set for my new F87.

I have a silicone case. It’s not much larger. It fits in the fob reader the dealers use. Doesn’t stop the trunk lid from being open some times. But since it’s a convertible, the lid doesn’t pop way open. It’s protection, plus it’s red. So it matches the trim on the seats.

That's similar to the one I got. You can find some cheap Chinese knock-offs on fleabay that are that style and pretty nice too for 1/4 the cost.

I kept on having that mysterious trunk popping open at the stop lights syndrome, and that style key case cured it.

If you want your key to look like it was shot through a T-1000 you could always pick up this interesting little guy from FUNFOBSG

This is the one I use. Without a cover of some sort, my emergency key kept separating from the rest of the fob and I nearly lost it it a couple times. The cover is a little bulky, but it keeps everything together nicely.

I have this one and like it, I'm not a fan of a bulky keychain so I like keeping the fob separate.

I just use my pocket. Comes free with every pair of pants I own (even with shorts!). I honestly see no reason/value to do this.

If you have keyless entry, it literally never leaves my pocket. My past car didn't have it, and I had no issues reaching into my pocket, pulling out the fob and pressing the button. Maybe you guys lay off the beers before unlocking the car if dropping the fob is such an issue.

Yeah the key comes apart a little too easily for my liking.

Mine is standard entry and the fob seldom leaves my pocket. Even if you're not visually impaired it's no major trick to know which button is which by feel alone.
