Help - Stolen 430i convertible

Hi folks I was wondering if someone could please help me. My car was stolen 2 days ago and the thieves deactivated my GPS tracking device so can't locate my vehicle via connected drive app. I live in Australia so rang HO and after jumping through a tone of hoops, I managed to get my IMEI no and SMS no from BMW Head Office. My question is, does anyone know where I or some professional tracking company could use this info to ping the towers and locate my car through this over-ride.??e
Some other thoughts...Does anyone anyone how to reset the head unit or flash the Idrive remotely??? Just thinking as a final resort that this reset the GPS tracking back on?? Any suggestions would be most appreciated...Thank you. Paul Koury

Have you initiated the BMW Vehicle Assist Vehicle Recovery Service protocol?

The police should be able to track the IMEI.

Well, if the police are anything like in the US....they don't care. It's why you have car insurance...and yeah they will take a report and details and so forth. But, kiss your car goodbye unless it gets ditched and shows up someplace.

Likely it is already in a warehouse ready to be shipped to African to be sold on the black market around the World.

Roadside Assist and BMW Vehicle Assist Vehicle Recovery Service aren't the same. This video is for BMW USA, you should have something similar at BMW Aus.
