Tyre Question
Hi All,
Needed to replace all 4 tyres for the MOT Quick question about load ratings, managed to order 4 tyres from Kwik-fit for £570 which is not too bad considering they are all run flats Front: Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, 225/40 19Y (89) Rear: Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, 255/35 19Y (92) after checking the order, I noticed the difference in load rating. I think the front tyres have the BMW OEM logo and the rear tyres do not. My question: Is this an issue? any ideas what they should be and do the front and rear need to be the same? Sadly Kwik-fit don't have the 89 load rating for the rear, so would need to get them from somewhere else and lose the 15% discount. Thanks

Kwik-fit was 15% discount an di have already ordered them
I try and avoid BlackCircle /ASDA tyres ..., the tyres where cheap but the fitting centre managed to damage the rim of each wheel and long story short did not pay for the damage as i had not noticed when collecting. I don't think i will beat £570 fitted by much tbh, as long as the load rating is not an issue. NOTE: tyresonthedrive are £589.87 (same load rating differance)

Quote:
Load ratings are usually different front/back where different sizes are concerned... (staggered setup for example).
