I have been using the forums as a place to buy used parts for a while , but I still have 0 rep. Wondering how do you get rep? Don't want to seem sketchy when I eventually do a part out !

People have to "appreciate" your post or reply. You can always " appreciate" others post replies and you may get some back.

If you actually help someone out I believe most will appreciate you.

To gain rep, you'll need to make some effort in making posts that others may appreciate. I see my rep and my number of posts as average or below average because I didn't make enough effort for them. It all depends on your interest and choice.

I liked your post. So just like that... Engage others on theirs and take an interest in the forum, and surely you will slowly build it.
