Best Dealer In LA?

Hi,

I'm new to LA and looking for a good dealership as I have about a year of free Maintainace left on my 228 - closest are Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, wondering if anyone has any advice on either, or another. I'm stock right now but looking at tuning in the near future.

Thanks!

After dealing with a bunch of service clowns that seemed to know nothing about BMW's, I've been very happy with the service and prices from Paul B at Nick Alexander in Los Angeles. Very knowledgeable and saved me money. I don't think Santa Monica or Beverly Hills have the best reputation for good service.

If you are specifically only looking for a "tune friendly" service advisor, you will need to specify.

Thanks! I won't tune until my warranty and free Maintainace is up end of year, but then thinking BM3 as it seems to be the overall smoothest from what I've read vs. a piggyback. Don't want to go crazy but I'd love a bit more power throughout the band.

If you still have free maintenance either Santa Monica or Beverly Hills BMW will do fine. I say this cause it does not come out of your pocket... it's free. Very convenient because it's close to you and your car is stock.

If your car is modded.. I'll probably recommend McKenna BMW as I'm current going there with my car and a few of my friends running jb4.

I'm currently running bm3 but I always flash back to stock and locked before service.

Not to go off-topic, but what are your thoughts on BM3 while I'm still under warranty and just flashing back before service? Realistically I have one oil change left, going to make them change fluids and see if they can find a anything to fix before warranty ends

Not a problem going off topic. I used run a piggy back, they where pretty good to begin with. They were a little rough during stop and go traffic then I drove someone car with bm3, the smoothness is what convince me even as everyone seem to say that it does not give as much gains as jb4. Anyway, I'm running bm3 stage 1 with catback quad awe as I still have a stock dp. Love it.

On the side note. Now I can control tho pops on the exhaust, for me I actually tone it down all the way to.like a i6 with mppsk with no pops just burble... which i use to hate with my piggyback...they are just loud when driving hard.

Beverly Hills is my preferred dealer for new cars: got 2 M3's, a 340i and an i3 from them. OEM M Performance parts like my MPE was purchased and installed there too. They took me up to the bays and it's quite an impressive, clean, and well run shop. I'd take it to them for basic maintenance and installs if they were closer to home. They will match and beat any other dealer on price for OEM parts. As far as out of warranty service and cars with mods, Charlie at South Bay BMW is the one to go to.

Thanks! They aren't the closest but if better than SM it's not too much further to BH.

We have been very happy with Century West. They also have a great selection of BMWNA executive vehicles for sale at huge discount off MSRP and less than 10k miles

Just got my 5th bimmer from Neda this past weekend at Beverly Hills BMW. She's very straightforward and so far has beat any other deals in town!
