A question on Notice.

The F56 MINI has all BMW systems now. Has anyone ever heard of an F56 MINI being Coded?

Anyone had any luck with the iphone app? I can't get it to work. My build is MY2014, would have thought it would have worked.

Maybe some coding is required???

I think Ian ordered a cable. I've been procrastinating but will order one early this year. I read up and will code apps and office as a minimum. That'll give app integration.

Doc you have to purchase an FSC code for Apps and AFAIK know only BMW can supply and you will also have to add to the VO of your car. For an old pro like you that will be a piece of cake though

When was your car built Doc? If it was after around April last year you should be able to get it to work (after buying the FSC code). If it's prior to that you won't get it to work as there is specific hardware required(a sim I believe).

As a precursor you can add to your VO BMW live/online which is what I have done, it gives you things like news and weather and a few other bits and pieces.

If you have the sos and teleservices then the office/apps should work as that requires that combox.

Noticed BMW are offering free ConnectedDrive Freedom plus Internet on all deliveries for the next 2 months.

Got ConnectedDrive Freedom for my 428, it costs about $1k extra.

I assume VO code means cable, laptop, software and switching something on?

Just wondering how you go with coding for your Connected Drive? I think I have similar setup to yours (SIM activated with SOS and Battery monitoring), but when I called BMW they said I can't subscribe because it needs to be done at the ordering..

I am keen to get the Traffic Alert and remote service, may be even Concierge if possible...
