The other sad part is the company themselves says use zip ties to hold up the coolant parts wrapped around the front portion of the car. I will be honest not 100% pleased with that response but hey what is a race car with out a zip tie, right?? Haven’t started the car yet but once we get it started I will write the review on the performance side next
Just an FYI, again from personal experience, sometimes securing components like radiators and oil colors can be detrimental. If you don't include some kind of isolator, they absorb all of the car's vibrations and that leads to cracks in the radiator. I know a lot of people that secure their coolers with zip ties, otherwise you'll want to at least use some rubber washers or something so it's not taking a beating.

It does look a little weird in your application but not the worst option for longevity.

100% agree. I have seen this happen countless times.

Not a fan that the instructions say to zip tie anything. To me that smells of unfinished or lazy craftsmanship. One thing is being Macgyver on your own, but for the instructions to tell you to do it sounds lazy.

Also I don't understand why you put zip ties over the fins? that seems like a bad idea. it should only be on the end tanks/brackets.

We are having some problems with the charge pipe connection to turbo hosing the pipe is hitting the frame of the car so we have been working out those kinks. Sadly not getting it on the road this week. The suspense is killing me...

So we have been having a lot of small difficulties with everything but have finally got down to the last part. The timing is off but once we finish that she will be back on road & making a road trip to knock out the adaption drive!

Thanks homie, yeah the numbers are definitely gonna be fun to see especially with stock fueling. I will be doing a full pump on 93 dyne and working with my team on e30. We have talked about an e85 tune but again getting ahead of myself with that one super early stages with that one.

I just installed a Pure Stage 1.... nothing comparable to your setup, but definitely made a difference and I can't imagine when you're done tuning!
I loved my PS2 setup & more than likely would have been fine with the setup until this out of state mustang lined up with me one Sunday & gave me two busses (no joke). I wasn't ready for what he was putting down. Ever since that moment I was like aight time to do this thing.

What were the shop's recommendations for break-in? And who's doing your custom tuning?

Yes very very soon. Once I pick the car up I gotta do a 600 miles break in period similar to the brand new car break in period. So no high rev, abusing, just normal driving. So the post may go quiet for a few days just FYI.

The shop's recommendations was a 600 mile drive than an oil change. In that drive no high revving, no speeding, just normal driving with no abuse.

As for custom tune my guy Mo will be doing the work over at DME Tuning. They are based out of Texas & New Jersey I believe. We are going to doing several tunes & will log each one with a dyno for you guys.

Yeah, there will always be someone faster though. It's a disease. I tangled with a new ZL-1 Camaro a few weeks ago (still on the JB4 at the time) and he smashed me pretty well, and I just kept thinking ...."well, if I had a PS2, I could probably get the upper hand, or at least hang alongside". And then a week later I was behind a C7 ZR1, and I'm like "ok, even a PS2 isn't gonna let me hang with him". It's all relative really. If you're trapping 120+, you're entering seriously fast territory. 15 years ago if you were trapping 120, you were ruling the streets. I mean, I embarrassed a mid 2000's Gallardo a couple weeks ago. These days, there are just so many stupid fast cars out there.

ZL-1 Camaro's are nice I ran one here in GA that was tuned but still gave him a 2.75/3 cars on the PS2's with Meth, E30, intake, & DME Stage 2+ Tune.

I have run a couple Corvette's but nothing dangerous in real aspect. For some reason Mustangs love lining up with me & getting disappointed which is why I went up against that older one with so much confidence than got brutally murdered haha
