Overall I like the look of the car. Just some random thoughts

I don't like the black front bumper bits, the black gill plate or the black side mirrors. They should be colour matched to the car. Using black for all colours reminds of car manufacturers that use the same black components on all of the different car colours for a particular model just for manufacturing and cost efficiency.

Iif the RWD automatic will do 0-100 in 5 seconds, the AWD should be less than 5 seconds if consistent with the e9X.

+1

Those ///M fender badges have got to go.

///M on the door sills, steering wheel, dead pedal, etc., should be enough for the wannabe ///M3 drivers. SMH.

Now don't get me wrong, putting a "M3" badge on a regular 3 series or a "M5" badge on a regular 5 series is stupid but I don't see the issue with a standalone "M".

What I would find interesting is how many of these haters still have an M badge on their M sport steering wheel, or M sport badges on the rims of their non M cars? Or even upgrade their non M sport bumpers to M sport? Isn't this making your car something it's not?
Personally speaking, I have no problems with my car having an ///M badge. Considering BMW brands the M Sport as "M" I even put an ///M license plate frame on my car. I am MORE than happy to exploit the styling and heritage of the ///M brand if BMW allows me. However, I can still understand how much marketing is involved in it and how it can truly dilute the "M" name. Also how much it would piss off M3/M5/etc. buyers. If BMW didn't badge an M Sport with any "M" badges I'd never put any on my car (like when I had M-B's I didn't have any "AMG" badges on it because Mercedes in their quest to saturate and whore the hell out of the "AMG" look had to stop branding it as "AMG" to not literally kill the namesake, therefore just call it a "Sport" Package which is the 99.9% common look of the brand now yet doesn't use any "AMG" logos).

But I'm more than happy to get the "M" branding on my M Sport car for the $3+K I payed for the option, good for me as it increases the psychological value and "specialness" of my car (and as long as they charge a premium for it, helps it further stand out) and it makes me less inclined to want the venerable "M"5. If BMW is offering to exploit it for me, I'll be happy to take it. However it's still a big step to now badge the fenders as BMW are marketing M Sport cars as true "M" cars. All us with M Sports will have field days I'm sure getting our money's worth for these packages when someone asks "is that an 'M'" and we say "yes". After all, it's exactly what BMW wants.... until maybe they go too far and saturate the namesake.

Anyway, aside from that rambling. PLEASE tell me the F32 has Optional LED turn signals? I'll never go back to halogens.

Other than that, I'm appreciating this car more. I just have to get the visual of the Concept out of my head.

Sweet! I think the design, proportions and overall character of the 4 series are very fitting of a sport coupe! Your version makes it even more stunning!

(Sadly, will still probably drive like crap - if anything like the f30).

I really think that 4 series coupe concept really blew it for BMW. A lot of people took them serious for it, and were expecting way too much out of a base 4 coupe. I truly believe they hit the 4 series design out of the park, and it WILL get better with mods, M-Sport package and obviously the M4. Your typical buyer turning an e92 328i and looking for their next car will absolutely fall in love with this 4 series, for what it currently is.

Alas, should have called the 4 series concept coupe a "4 series fantasy coupe".

I don't mind ///M badges but I remember seeing them on the E36 all over the place and being confused for a long time.

I do wonder how many ///M badges are on an M Sport, quite a few by the looks of it. How will hey get more onto the ///M Performance? Will it have a big ///M on the bonnet or will it have ///MP4 on the front wing

Yeah this is true, there are several on my E36 328i Sport,.. the way people are pissing and moaning about it on the forums is frustrating, it's like it's a new thing, of they've only just noticed or something!

I just don't understand why the damn bimmerang couldn't just be integrated into the fender like the f15. It doesn't bother me at all on that car, but here it looks so out of place and add-on. I can't get over it.

Blown away by all the negativity. While design opinion is subjective, I can't help but to mention how gorgeous this thing is (in my opinion). While I like the look of the e92 coupe....every dimension seems to flow better on the f32....especially the tail end. The interior is better, the tech is better, the tranny is better....what do people want for heavan's sake??

The m sport looks good, but I can't get past the bumpers on the others. Looking forward to seeing it in person. The is a lot of argument over this cars looks vs e92. But I would take an e92 over this just based on how it will drive. Assuming it drives like the f30.

I have to say, that I love the back, and .... I hate the front, especially the intake. I hated them on the concept, but kept quiet to see the actual car. The reason? I've seen something similar in other cars such as the original Hyundai Genisis coupe, but it seems this is the way car design is leaning these days.

BUT that being said, I'm not a fanboy and have always been criticaly of the e90's and f30s. The e46, is still amazing looking.

And after seeing the current 3 series in person this styling cue has grown on me a bit.

I know I won't be a huge fan but I'll give this thing a chance to look great in person. Direct, natural sunlight, and the correct colours can do a lot for a car.

( my comments are purely on form, not function )

M-Sport packs date back decades, hell you could get an M appearance package on a 318TI that made in impossible to distinguish from the front of an E36 M3.

Yet when I go to a show no one seems up in arms over the countless E90 335 AUTOMATICS with M Stripes and M badges all over them.
