Maybe that's messing up the entire camera system. I hope it works. |

I am excited to get my andream box coming in this weekend and literally the only thing I found missing on my 2014 328xi. I would like to know what the latest version of software everyone is using for their boxes. I plan to use the apple carplay with this and see the latest version in 3rd post to be v2.0.2.7.gpe.b (20.1.7). I see people talking about the Bimmertech version here but not sure which one of it is the latest and if so is it better than the Andream's latest version.

Do you guys have your phones placed on a mount even with this CarPlay/AA solution?
I'd love to see pics to get an idea of how I'm going to do my setup.

Cool I just ordered one to replace my joyeauto unit. I'm hoping it's better since it uses the factory mic and I've read that Siri works with the steering wheel button.

So here is my solution to the mmi echo issue during phone calls:
Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag for Phones - Device Shielding for Law Enforcement, Military, Executive Privacy, Travel & Data Security, Anti-Hacking & Anti-Tracking Assurance https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A7MACL2..._DUguEbHYG1PYH The pouch completely blocks the mmi's bt signal and I am now able to reliably make and receive calls with the stock bmw bt with no issues and no echo on wired AA. I don't like the echo and it seems that more progress is being made with these units. Also I want the steering wheel Siri to work. Do those work for you?

If you're asking me I just ordered the andream unit yesterday.. the joyeauto one I currently have doesn't have the same settings. Does the steering wheel Siri button work for you if you don't use idrive Bluetooth?

Has anyone noticed a difference on AA between the volume of music (e.g. Amazon Music) which is at normal volume and on the other hand navigation (waze and Google maps) or calls barley hearable? Can't find a solution to this.
Though I guess it's more a problem of my mobile (mi mix 2) rather than the box. Has anyone found a fix for a stable Internetconnection? WiFi is great and having 4G (after allowing mobile data while connected to WiFi) I still facing the problem that some options still won't work every second try. Music doesn't show covers and won't come up with online content and so on. |

I listen to FM radio sometimes and always preferred the stock bmw bt for the call quality and the ability to hear the phone ring while listening to the radio. I wish that there was a way to turn off the mmi's bt signal in the settings. But I posted my solution using a faraday pouch a few posts back that completely blocks the mmi's bt signal so it doesn't compete with the stock bt on my phone. It's working great so far. |
