Starting problem after filling up diesel

I'm having a problem where my car is struggling to start right after filling it up with fuel, the car turns for about half a second then gives up and tries again. It has happened to me 3 times leaving me stuck at the petrol station.

I leave it locked for about 20-30 mins and it starts right up.

Does anyone know whats going on here. I have checked the fault codes last time and this is what I got:

S0938 Power management, battery condition. Battery faulty or worn out
4809AB DSC: Undervoltage in vehicle
8031D9 REM: Supply voltage too low
8040B5 Engine start fault during starter operation. No engine speed on activation
804415 Radio remote control: Battery undervoltage
80444D Inside mirror: Undervoltage detected
CD0487 ZGM: Synchronisation process for FlexRay failed

I am going to go on a limb here and suggest that your battery is on its way out... Refueling may have been a coincidence.

^The battery sounds like your main culprit bud...

On a side note; when was the last time your fuel filter was changed? With the "right after fill up" problem specifically, I would guess the low voltage is struggling to push fuel through a clogged filter as well.

I tried jumpstarting it with a battery pack but it doesnt seem to have done anything, not sure if im doing something wrong here. Car is booked in for a major service next month but im unsure when the fuel filter was last changed.

Recently had the recall done where the egr and the inlet manifold was replaced.

Car completely died and wouldn't start giving me a ignition/starter warning. New battery didn't help but a new starter seems to have solved it I think.

Purely for my curiosity, do you use the auto stop/start feature a lot?

And how many km/miles on car, and have you driven through any deeper water in recent months?

Start/Stop was coded off when I got the car at 60k, before that I do not know.

Currently at 90k miles, don't think I've been through deep water though
