Issues with agency power exhaust. 435i coupe rwd

So I recently bought a agency power full catback system. Cost a decent chunk of change. Finally got it in. Box had zero damage to it. Called my local shop got a qoute for install and took it up there.

This is where things start to fall apart.

Well the exhaust seems to be hanging down a good 3-4 inches below stock. So much that it cant actually be bolted up to the chassis. Even with 2 guys pushing up. Some of the welds on the midpipe look to be bending downward about 15 degrees causing the sag. Also the tail pipes one is bent. And Im assuming the sag is causing the issue where we cant even put the tips on. I contacted the seller which told me to contact the vendor. Which I did.

Talked to the rep at Agency they wanted me to send pics. Which I did. And an invoice for the install fee even though it didnt fit and I had to go back to stock. Its only fair I pay someone for the work they put in. Not their fault the product is faulty. So I attached the invoice asking for a replacement and for them to pay my first install fee seeing as im going to have to pay this again. But I shouldnt be punished for bad craftsmanship. Its only fair.

Now the problem is agency is not responding to my emails. At all. The seller is telling me I have to contact the vendor. And im sitting here with a $1600 exhaust that just wont fit my car. I have a stock cat. But it doesnt state its for a certain type of cat.

So I have 2 issues here. This is a big purchase and im trying to give them the benefit of the doubt they havent seen my email yet. But its been about 4 business days and a couple of bumps to the thread with no response. I dont really want to do a chargeback id really just like to have them respond saying were sending you a replacement but that hasnt happened. I love the sound of the exhaust from clips ive heard but hate that its just $1600 junk at this point.

How long would you wait till you force their hand with the chargeback?
Also maybe someone else here has a agency power exhaust that might have ran into the same problem and you had your issue resolved?

Ive contacted the seller via their website for a return they do not have a email address listed that I can attach to the thread. Ill give them a few days to try and get this sorted. Otherwise paypal said I need to give them at least 14 days to resolve the issue and then we can chargeback if no response.

Worse comes to worse guess ill just take my $1600 and take the midpipe to a welder to have them bend the welds so they fit.

Ill keep everyone abridged. But yeah stay away from agency power. Should have just spend the extra $600 and bought a armytrix exhaust.

So ive heard. And read a lot of them being some of the best. Sadly with this situation I think QC didnt catch this. And maybe agency power is working with the seller to get it resolved and hasnt had time to respond to my emails. Maybe maybe not.

Im frustrated for sure. The seller has been responding to my emails. They have pics and the last thing they asked is if the exhaust is back in the box. I had to tell my inner sarcastibeast to get back in its cage cause I really wanted to write back "no i left it installed and im dragging it around on the car" but i didnt.

Update. Seller stopped responding to me but agency has now started responding. Apparently have to fill out a warranty form and they need to inspect the exhaust on site. Whatever that means.

This is a shitshow. This exhaust better be the best damn sounding exhaust that gives me a boner everytime i start the car.

Would be interested in knowing who the seller is...not cool they are making you navigate the brain damage by yourself. I'm pretty sure they were thankful for your timely payment tho...

another update.

Neither the seller nor the manufacturer will pay my install fees on a faulty product. Also looks like they want me to pay the shipping going back to them im arguing that im not paying anything else at this point but I might end up having to. So looks like im going to have to eat bill after bill because of a faulty product.

Just stay as far away as possible from agency and lmperformance.

I dont know if either are active on this site. But agency power is a manufacturer they also sell their product on their site. lmperformance had a black friday deal which was $200 cheaper than agency so I went with them.

I try and keep this thread updated with the fuckery that im going through. As a warning to other potential customers to not deal with them. And if you do this is likely what will happen if something isnt right.

Latest update I finally got shipping labels. And they are paying for it. But both still refuse to pay for the initial service fee. Exhaust has been shipped back to agency for them to inspect it. So maybe ill have a new exhaust come april of 2019 seeing as how long this took just to get a shipping label.

Update and possibly final update: Agency finally got back to me and their response was half assed. "We looked at it and didnt see anything wrong". I responded back its been 3 days and nothing back. I told them pictures clearly prove something is wrong.

Anyways I have asked the seller for my money back. Im done playing this game.

Well now agency says I still have the axel back portion. Which I dont and was shipped back weeks ago. So here we go. Just when I thought I was out. More headaches. I will absolutely NEVER buy anything agency ever again.
