Hey guys,
Recently my 340xi has been acting weird on both E30 and 93 BM3 Stage 2 tunes. Poor throttle response, and I actually got a drivetrain error and had to limp home after a car show. I pulled codes thru BM3 and am constantly pulling “100001 Throttle valve, function: sticks briefly” and “100501 Throttle valve 2, function: stiff, too slow” I did 2 quick pulls in sport and the logs are below. BOOTMOD3 STAGE 2 93 LOGS Please let me know. If my motor is bound to blow I want to stop driving this POS lol Last edited by BeamChop; 03-25-2025 at 09:02 PM.. |

Knock at WOT
Hey guys. Currently on a custom flex fuel tune from CD919. The car performs well in normal cruising and semi-WOT (50%ish throttle angle), but WOT has issues as of recently. When shifting gears at WOT the car will pull timing, and sometimes set off the Knock Detection. Can anyone help me out?
Car is currently on E50 (X85 Mixed with 100 Octane to get an E50 mix) pushing 500hp and 500 lb/ft of Torque on the stock turbo. Pure 800 turbo is coming in a week. Mods: VRSF Downpipe BM3 Flex Fuel Kit MST Cold Air Intake MAD Axle-Back Exhaust Log #1 w/ Knock: https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=67db...02fb3bd428b927 Log #2 without Knock: https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=67db...e26a0c627c36e3 EDIT: Figured out my turbo seals are going bad. Timing corrections look good but fuel pressure dropping and ignition timing crashing.

Unplugged the JB4 w BEF and flashed stage 1 93 MHD. Felt stronger. 93 shell and couple gallons of e85 — prob e20 or less. Can I just add more e85 to get rid of the corrections shown? These runs are 10 min after the flash — maybe it just has to adapt

If you reduce Ethanol you will get timing corrections and you will need to run Stage 1.

Yes TU can handle it easily, it can push E42 at 22 psi or E50 at 18-20 psi.
