2018 F30 Alarm

Hi All. First post so go easy..
I've had my f30 330e for just over a year and so far so good. However it's developed a problem with the alarm.
The issues is when I use the key for to lock the car after about 3-4 mins the alarm goes off,
I've seen it could be a door sensor or bonnet, or even the battery,
I don't get any bonnet open, door open messages when everything is closed.

I've checked fuses, read about turning off internal sensors etc.
One thing I have noticed is that I can sit in the car and lock with the key fob and the car doesn't alarm.... weird.

I've removed the dashcam power from the OBD port as this was also a suggestion but it still does it.
Im a bit stumped.. could it the battery if so What one??

At the moment the only way I'm able to lock the car is through the app or manually with the key.

Any suggestions guys.
Also where do I get the ISTA app?
Cheers

I would check the battery in the key fob. It sounds [unintentional] like the key transponder [or whatever the trickery is] isn't communicating with the car.

I had a similar issue, though for different reasons & on a Vauxhall Vectra, when I soaked my car key [it was in the pocket of my thermal] when scuba diving whilst wearing a dry suit - the dry suit was anything but 'dry'.

Every morning when I unlocked the car using the key, the alarm would sound when I opened the door, though it would set the alarm when I locked the car.

I changed both keyfob batteries on Sunday and made no difference.
One deactivates the internal sensors the other doesn't,yet another weird thing.
I'm going to test both batteries at the weekend and see what there sitting at. They hybrid battery seems to be fine but I'm guessing with the amount of stop starting these do the agm battery must take a pounding.
