Fuel injectors upgrade ?

Does anyone knows what is the limit of the stock injectors on n55. I am going to build full bolt on car with garret 3582 and i wanna know where is going to be my limit on fuelling. And also read about an fuel injector upgrade in the s55 from m5. Is it possible in the n55 this upgrade or port injection is the only way to add additional fuel.

Ive seen mid 500whp with stock injectors, no PI or LPFP, just HPFP. Not sure how much further you can go beyond that, but at about 700 you are going to be nearing the limit of the stock bottom end anyways; how far do you want to push it?

I have heard xdi may be developing an upgrade. I'm running pure stage 2 with xdi Hpfp and e50. My injectors all failed after 5k (30k total) on this setup.

Not sure if the ethanol was a contributing factor, but upgraded injectors may add a little more head room for reliability?

I am planning to go beyond 600whp on fully build motor. How about this HPFP from xdi is it possible to run it with custom flash ? I mean different than the mhd and bootmod3 ?

You should be able to run any HPFP with a custom tune. I believe XDI and Dorch are already pre-configured in OTS maps, but spool is not. The tuner should be able to make any of them work though.

I run mine which a custom Fabian mhd e50 tune.

There is also a setting in standard mhd maps for the Hpfp upgrade

I think that the oem injectors are not made for often e50-e85 mixes. I owned e90 n54 6 months ago and i pushed on stage 2 turbos td04hl on 25psi 542whp on pump gas with meth and never haded problem with injectors. Ofcourse i blown up the motor for 2k miles but this is different story 😁

So no one didn't try injector upgrade from M5 on N55 ?

I'm running E30, PS2, XDI-35 pump and custom tune from Fabian with PureBoost and have no issues at all.

Spool Performance is a pretty good option for HPFPs with their new FX-150. I helped Ajay beta test them on my F30.

Does this go to OEM injectors as only? What if its Bosch? I mean both are being manufactured by Bosch, but one is officially from BMW, do they both have the same limits? I know on none tuned cars they work the same way...
