Did anyone have any problem with there car after tuning them ? engine knocking/whole car shivering like crazy with the drivetrain message popping on the screen?

i have an odd problem with mine.

I had this issue one time and it was the only time I left my car outside for the night, and it was cold out through the night and in the morning. Car started fine but shook (felt like someone was pushing the car back and forth) for a few seconds when I started driving and was under 10 mph. After a few seconds it went away and has not come back.

If you got a drivetrain message you may want to scan the car to see if there were any codes thrown. I've heard that bad gas can contribute to this, and I would assume bad spark plugs/coils can cause this as well.

There's a million reasons you can have a drivetrain malfunction. The tune could have just exacerbated existing hardware problems. Scan for codes as mentioned above. You also didnt provide any context - miles, mods, last time plugs/coils were changed, did the problem go away after driving, did you try flashing back to stock, etc etc.

First step is always to flash back to stock to check if tune is at fault.

yes i did flash it back to stock.. no more problem flashed it back again to stage 2 the problem came back i have 90k miles on odo running on f82 one step colder spark plugs and delphi ignition coils..
changed them once i got the tune

charge pipe
cts cold air intake
vrsf intercooler

sadly i did flash it back to stock and it was a custom tune so we did another file with some mods too and the tuner rechecked if there's any thing wrong with the file but there was nothing.

no it's everytime i'm in 4th gear high rpm and pressing that throttle i get backfire/shiver/ loss of power etc..

last time i had the problem the car started shaking tried turning it on/off nothing happened scanned it for fault codes and gave me

140010 Combustion misfires, several cylinder: detected

140110 combustion misfire, cylinder 1 detected

140001 misfire, several cylinders: fuel injection is switched off

140101 misfiring cylinder 1: fuel injection is switched off

I mean if your getting those codes and you said the only change besides tune was plugs and coils then problem could be there. Did you change yourself or get it all done somewhere?

at a workshop, i'll be changing the injector #1 next step.

If the problem seem to be with #1, you can try swapping the plug and coil from #1 to another cylinder and see if the problem follows the coil/plug. If it doesnt, then injector is likely.

I got the exact same problem 5 days ago and is changing a coil today. Moved things around and I know for sure it is the coil (only 3500km on it). Only happens on boost at WOT.

My error messages from my faulty coil. Is it your mechanic that has diagnosed it as an injector?

we've tried 2 set of coils still..
i ordered a set of after market spark plugs and and ignition coils from NP BOOSTED waiting for them to arrive.. but i'll be swapping injectors once the lockdown is over here in Lebanon.

i have 0 faults on stock plus i drove it for the last month having 0 problems and 0 fault codes. the problem happens to reappear everytime i flash it back to stage 2

it's frustrating tbh

i'll be checking for fault codes once i get in the car and update you guys.

Hello I'm new to the turbo bmw game. I'm looking at purchasing a 2012 bmw 335xi but it is throwing a few codes (p3149, p15b8, p3164, p0300, p0206) and they all seem to point to fuel injectors or a hpfp and I was wondering if im correct or if there would be something else causing these issues any help would be much appreciated thank you in advance.
